My favorite love story; my wife and I. »

I've always loved compelling pictures and a good story, so maybe wedding photography was the natural marriage of both in my life. It's always an amazing experience to capture two lives becoming one and to tell the awesome love story they share through the images we make together. I love to take pictures that really show off a couple's personality and depict the way they truly interact together. Most of all, I am a sucker for genuine laughter, spontaneous emotion and capturing the real moments of your wedding day as they happen.

So how did I get into wedding photography? Some of the best things in life seem to happen to me “accidentally” and sort of without my noticing it. I second shot a wedding with a buddy and I knew that night that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I must credit two friends, Adam Nyholt and Danny Heinlein, for mentoring me. I am blessed beyond words to share life with my wife Toni, my son Ethan and my family and friends who have encouraged and challenged me at every turn.

When I'm not behind the camera, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling, eating great food (too much sometimes), being active outside and even a little PS3. I suck at Call of Duty but I like it any way.

I love wedding photography because I get to meet so many wonderful people and share in some of the happiest moments of their lives. I hope you will give me the opportunity to help tell your story and to be a part of your big day together!
