My favorite love story; my wife and I. »

Some of the best things in life seem to happen to me “accidentally” and sort of without my noticing it. I've always loved pictures and I've always loved a good story (Dennis Lehane is my favorite author, hands down) so maybe wedding photography was the natural marriage of both in my life. I second shot my first wedding with a friend and I knew that night that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. It's always a thrill to get behind the camera and try to capture two lives, two personalities and to tell the awesome love story they share through the course of the photos we take together. I love to take pictures that really show off a couple's personalities and depict the way they truly interact together.

I would be remiss if I didn't give credit to two friends, Adam Nyholt and Danny Heinlein, who mentored me! Thanks in part to many hours spent hanging out with (and occasionally harassing) them, I was able to accelerate the study of my new found passion. Thanks also to my wife for her patience and support and my family and friends who have encouraged and challenged me at every turn!

When I'm not behind the camera, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our family and friends, travel, eating good food (a little too much sometimes), being active outside and even a little PS3.

I love photography because I get to meet so many wonderful people and share in some of the happiest moments of their lives. I hope you will give me the opportunity to help tell your story and to be a part of your big day together!
