Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED-IF AF-S VR Zoom Nikkor Lens
The point of all of that mumbo jumbo is to say that I now have a lense that will allow me to take relaxed pictures of people without invading their space (more zoom reach = I can stand more than a few feet back to frame the shot.)
As a bonus, it has already provided Toni and I an experience in pre-marital financial compromise!
I know it seems anticlimactic to write about buying a new lense and not post any results of its use (that is, after all the point, of any lense, take great pics with it) … but these I promise soon.
