Reese, Lori, Jackson and Jonas … Round 2
Posted on October 20, 2008
Toni and I an awesome time visiting some of our closest friends in Fort Worth this last weekend. As life goes on, many friends come and go … and it’s rare to find people that you remain close to even as you progress through life’s different stages: marriage, kids, careers and more.
Of course we managed to take a few shots of their kids at a local park. Though there were a number of them that simply didn’t turn out as I would’ve liked–a 1- and 2-year old don’t pose well and I’m still learning to use my new D200–I’ll end this post on that note and drop a few of my favorite pics below:

My lovely wife Toni, rocking the huge sunglasses with Jonas.

Btw, I owe an apology to Lori … for some reason, I kept blowing out the shots I took with her and one of the kids. I wanted to post a few but none of them were very good–which I emphasize is no fault of hers, just my being slow to adjust the settings on my camera!

The past two weekends, I took some pictures of some of our friends’ kiddos; once at their house and once at the local “pumpkin patch.” I’ve actually taken pictures of them both and posted on this blog before, but Vicky and Kevin are always up for some pictures of their kids, and I’m happy to take them! As an up-and-coming photographer who is looking for practice, you can never have too many friends who want pictures …

I’ve got a few more on another camera but the battery went dead and I don’t have my charger! So I’ll post those as soon as I get ahold of one …
