Welcome!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm Chris Aram, and this is my personal blog, which is mostly what happens when I'm behind a lense doing what I really enjoy: making awesome pictures, capturing awesome moments and working with awesome people!

Speaking of awesome things I enjoy, I am happily married to my beautiful wife and really enjoy spending time with her, our newborn son and our family and friends. Throw in a little PS3, music and eating (too much sometimes), and you've got a pretty good idea of what I like to do.

If you're interested in working with me, please don't hesitate to contact me via e-mail at chrisaram@hotmail.com or by phone at 614.973.9599.

Father of a bride just called to tell me how happy they all were with their daughter's wedding pictures. That really makes my morning. :D

Alison and Vince : Married!

Posted on January 29, 2009

Milestones.

This past weekend, I shot my very first wedding as second shooter to Adam and Kacie … and it was an absolute blast! Unfortunately, I had not met Alison and Vince prior to their big day, but I really enjoyed meeting this fun and laid back couple.

One of the things that I find so cool about wedding photography is that it’s an opportunity to see (and try to capture, in pictures) the very best in people. A day in which the bride and groom and their family and friends share in the celebration and the happiness of the love that unites them.

This wedding was all of that and then some. The ceremony was short, sweet and to the point (my favorite kind) and their reception a great time from start to finish. Great family and friends, great food, great toasts, an Astros cake and a party who could burn it up on the dance floor … really. I almost burned out my flash in the process of trying to keep up!

Thanks to Adam for letting me ride shotgun and thanks to Alison and Vince for the opportunity to be a part of your amazing wedding day!

And now … a little getting ready

And a few details …

And a little more getting ready …

LOVED the ceremony. Short but poignant … and the church gave Adam and I a lot of latitude to shoot what we wanted to.

I’ll throw in at least one posed portrait …

The first dance …

And a little cake …

A fight for the bouquet …

The best man was cracking me up the entire night.

Everybody loves a good line dance …

I’ve never had a famous Crave cupcake, but sadly … this is as close as I got to one.

And probably my favorite shot of the night …

Congratulations and a lifetime of love to you both, Alison and Vince!
