Welcome!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm Chris Aram, and this is my personal blog, which is mostly what happens when I'm behind a lense doing what I really enjoy: making awesome pictures, capturing awesome moments and working with awesome people!

Speaking of awesome things I enjoy, I am happily married to my beautiful wife and really enjoy spending time with her, our newborn son and our family and friends. Throw in a little PS3, music and eating (too much sometimes), and you've got a pretty good idea of what I like to do.

If you're interested in working with me, please don't hesitate to contact me via e-mail at chrisaram@hotmail.com or by phone at 614.973.9599.

Please check out my full online portfolio for more details!

Father of a bride just called to tell me how happy they all were with their daughter's wedding pictures. That really makes my morning. :D

Barbeque and Bikes

Posted on August 31, 2009

So this weekend we had some good friends over had a great afternoon of eating way too much food and hanging out together. And we drank a beer or two … or three. And biked with their kids around the neighborhood … Well, I took pictures, the women walked, and Thomas and the kiddos biked. Here are a few pics:

If any one is wondering, my wife is the one who likes to stick her tongue out at people (seems to be a theme on this blog.) Not just at husbands behind cameras but random passerby as well. Her very good friends Linda and Tracy are the ones who know how to smile. :P

Aw, but she really can smile. Duotone, any one?

Kids never cease to amaze me at just how much energy they have. Or maybe it’s how much I don’t have … I’ll blame it on Tracy and her cake.

This is pretty much how I still eat, to this day:

Krystal and Jay : Engaged!

Posted on August 23, 2009

I first met Krystal and Jay at the Dayton Bridal Expo last Sunday and have been looking forward to their engagement session all week! We met in the Short North at the Burgundy Room, where they had their first date and we talked for a few before getting started. In particular, Jay told the story of their engagement (which I would love to retell but could not begin to do justice). Suffice it to say, they are a fun, laid back and down-to-earth couple and I really enjoyed working with them both!

Two very short hours later, these were a few of my favorites:

Congratulations and a lifetime of love to you both!
