Thanks for stopping by! I'm Chris Aram, and this is my personal blog, which is mostly what happens when I'm behind a lense doing what I really enjoy: making awesome pictures, capturing awesome moments and working with awesome people!

Speaking of awesome things I enjoy, I am happily married to my beautiful wife and really enjoy spending time with her, our two children and our family and friends. Throw in a little PS3, music and eating (too much sometimes), and you've got a pretty good idea of what I like to do.

- Adam Nyholt - A friend and mentor who has cheerfully answered about 1,000 questions, Adam probably at times wishes that I no longer had his phone number. He produces some work that'll just blow you away.
- Anna Kuperberg - Anna's photography is of a quality that is very hard to put into words. I aspire to her extraordinary skills of composition and raw emotion.
- BorrowLenses.com - Great rental equipment at a great price. For any photographer who wants to give a lens a test drive or has a short-term assignment, I highly recommend them.
- Danny Heinlein - A photographic mentor and friend,. Danny shot our own wedding! My wife and I still love looking at our album to this day.
- David duChemin - One of my favorite photographers! Whether you just love taking pictures or are a seasoned professional, I cannot recommend his book "Within the Frame" highly enough.

Karen and Douglas : Married!

Karen and Doug were married at the Columbus Athenaeum in a beautiful, intimate ceremony in the Chapel, with the reception following in the “Small” Theatre Room. You might remember them from their fantastic engagement shoot, previously here on my blog.

These two are and were, from the moment I met them, two of the most genuine and fun people I have ever had the privilege of working with. Put them together with their families and friends, and this was the result:

Blogging Takes a Backseat …

To processing, printing and delivering images and albums to my clients. That’s just the way it’s gotta be. I don’t expect readers and prospective clients to spend their time browsing thousands of images in my proofing galleries and I love featuring the best of the best from each of the awesome weddings I am blessed to shoot. Buuut, I’m afraid updates are on hold for just a little while longer.

In the meanwhile, I’ve been cooking up quite a few posts, but haven’t had the time to put them together. September ought to be a slower month for me and I hope to catch up on everything. Please check back soon!
