What's most important to you?
Let's talk: what are you looking for in your wedding photography? :)
We'll start with a casual meeting over coffee or drinks; a chance for you get to know me and me to get to know you! Not only a glimpse of the love you share, but also some questions that will help me to capture your true selves on your wedding day, in the style you're looking for.
Figure out your style.
For instance, do you want your pictures to look more modern or classic? Silly or romantic? What do you like or dislike, either in my portfolio or the work you've seen from others?
No worries if you don't have all the answers right away - many couples don't! - but you want your pictures to reflect certain traits of your relationship. And our first meeting (and subsequent time spent with each other) will help us to create this vision together.
Choose the photographer who's right for you.
I always, without exception, encourage you to choose the photographer who is the best fit for you. If that's me - great! and if it's not, then that's fine too. This meeting will help you to decide that; and if you've chosen to work with me, we sign on the dotted line and then get to the really fun stuff!
The engagement session.
Standard with all wedding day photography is an engagement session (two-ish hours in length.) Fun images of you and your fiance together at your best ... and doubles as time for us to get to know each other.
Communication, communication, communication.
About a month out, I'll send you a final list of questions - things like your timeline, portrait list, other shots you want to be sure we get, etc. Confirming these details ensures that we are on the same page and I understand fully what you are looking for. I know from personal experience how stressful and busy those last few weeks can be, so I'm always available to help you out with any questions or concerns you may have!
Above all, my goal is that you have a fantastic wedding, a day that is perfect for you. That mindset will guide the way I prepare and ultimiately shoot.
Crazy fast turnaround times.
After your wedding has come and gone, while you're off having the time of your life on your honeymoon, I'll be processing your photos, preparing the best of the best and uploading them to my website where you can begin to revel in them within a few weeks. This is also an opportunity for you to request any additional changes.
If you've ordered an album, we'll talk specifics (dimensions, materials, etc.) and I'll request a list of your favorite pictures, if you'd like, to be sure they are featured. Once completed, I'll post a proof of your album online and we'll review and make changes from there.
The best possible service. Guaranteed.
I am obsessed with providing the best possible service to each of my clients and above all else, I want you to have an incredible wedding day! Part of that is ensuring that I am on the same page with you throughout, which is why I want to get to know you and your expectations and to make sure I am equipped to meet and exceed them all before your wedding arrives. This means that I communicate (there's that word again) with you throughout: I try to anticipate questions or snags you may encounter and return emails and calls promptly.
